Data are set out :
as logs:
Dipmeter logs (1/20 scale) or Depth-Azimuth-Depth diagrams (1/20 scale)
On logs and D.A.D. diagrams, a colour and shape code is used to distinguish :
** Sedimentary structures like stratification planes, clay joints, stratiform styolitic joints, erosion contacts.
** Tectonic structures like fractures, gashes, tectonic styolitic joints.
In respect to the standard dipmeter logs, the D.A.D. diagram, which is a "burst arrow-plot", brings out the azimuth variations with depth. The geometric features and the directional angular ratios are clearly visualised
as rose-diagrams, which set out azimuth or orientation organizations.
GRAPHICAL OUTPUTS
as Stereonet plots in Wulff or Schmidt net.
as fracture repartition diagrams, which set out an indication of the fracture length.
Highly broken zones which are impossible to reconstitute are not included in the survey, to allow a good reliability indispensable for the reorientation operations. These zones are included as remark in the study and diagrams.
